There is something sweet and timeless in this photo that is absolutely enthralling. I love the expression and the softness of the fingers curling around your arm. It is a sweet tension about you, a girl (which all women retain at their heart) under spell of a crush. Really lovely.
You better protect them tulips, you never know when some random guy might come along and just steel 'em! Tulips are awesome, they bring back so many childhood memories of going to tulip festivals and parades. There were lots of flowers and candy!
I like how you did the hair. It adds a little culture to the picture. So many cultures where women wrap up their hair or hide it that it could even simply be a fantasy one.
(Sorry I enjoy being able to look at your pictures and rambling. )
You look so different in this - with your hair removed from the equation it's easy to concentrate on those beautiful, emotion-filled, eyes, your beautiful lips and strong jawline.
Hints of "A Girl with a Pearl Earring", but also, it has certain severity, nun-like quality to it, the scarf the most austere of habits.
I didn't notice the disembodied hand until it was pointed out - so clearly it's not that big an issue (for me) - wonder though, what this image would be like cropped square, with the bottom of the frame above the extremity in question.
