I was in two minds whether to show you this one (I still might take it down) it was shot for our personal series of every day scenes. Bedroom nudity is often seen as intentionally sexual, but that wasn't our purpose at all with these, waking up naked (for me at least) is one of the most natural forms of nudity, along with bathing. I think this has more innocence than direct sexuality, but it's sometimes hard for me to judge how others will see an image.
Natural light. This was shot in one of the bedrooms of the Laird's manor house (we stayed overnight in the house and a further 3 nights in their little "picnic cottage" right on the beach, which was where the image "snapshot" was taken).
Photography by David Charles (my husband)
Not stock, please don't use for anything, thank you.
I will say that out of all of your photos so far, this one is the most comforting one to me. it is peaceful. not for sexual reasons, but for the memory of how wonderful it feels to wake up with someone near you. because waking up is so natural, and for you to be at your most natural without being alone is magnificent.
I think the reason that it gives me that thought is because it is third-person view. I'm look AT you... so it's an image similar to what it looks like to see someone waking up in front of me. the sex, if any happened, would have been last night. the waking up is the beauty of just Being. and that feeling is magical.
Words the photo drew. As always, photos of your smile are my favorites.
You husband is a very lucky man - he could see such images every morning
As for the sexual concern, for me, I'm thinking the morning cuddling more than the morning romp. So, I think you succeeded, at least with me.
Your husband “David Charles” has done a marvelous photo on you! All that good natural lighting makes me jealous and you’re so beautiful I can't even shut my eyes for a second. Purr shot!
